Swimming in Cenote EscondidoÂ
This cenote is located opposite the Cenote Cristal on the highway. It will take you around 10 minutes on foot to reach the beautiful location from the road. The site stays open from 9 AM to 5 PM.

This calm and scenic cenote is located at a distance of 6 km or 3.8 miles south of the famous town of Tulum. You can get to the location via car, and it will take around 10 minutes. However, if you wish to travel via bike, it will take you approximately 20 minutes.
You can also hire the services of a taxi if you do not wish to rent a car or a bicycle. However, it will cost you around 150 to 250 pesos for a cab. Once you reach Cenote Cristal, you can walk down to the Cenote Escondido. The latter is located on the left side of the highway, and you will have to traverse across a gravel road to reach your desired location. If you wish to travel the distance on foot, it will take you around 10 minutes. However, the length is shorter via bike.
There is a small parking lot available wherein you can lock your bike amidst the trees.
